Loop is a series of seasonal mixed fermentation beers, aged in oak and blended with a medley of seasonal, locally sourced farmed and foraged ingredients. The latest release in the series was fermented with Perry pear juice from Burrow Hill Cider Farm (Somerset Cider Brandy Company) on the Somerset levels, and infused with juniper berries, foraged in the Highlands of Scotland. The beer pours ultra pale with a pure white head of quickly subsiding foam. The high effervescence drives forward aromas of fruity and dry, farmyard cider. Whilst at the first sip, the gentle acidity balances those funky flavours against the subtle nuance of juniper.
Born through the combined passion for three things: Foraging, flavour and fermentation. Brewing and blending innovative and clean wild slow beers in the Mendip Hills of Somerset, with an eye towards traditional brewing methods and barrel ageing.
